Thanks Alina

Alina gave me a good idea to write about how people feel on the last day of school.

OK, so, here goes...

Aaaah. The last day of school. Finally, you get to do nothing for the whole summer. But your friends aren't there because half of them aren't in New Jersey. So what's your opinion about summer vacation? Is it fun in the sun, or earning for learning (wow, that was weird).

Hi Alisa! Summer vacation can be boring if you have nothing planned. Luckily, I'm going to camp this year. Last year, I had NOTHING to do over vacation!

You could do lots of stuff over summer vacation! You could watch T.V till you get sick of it, you can make local friends,(and risk having a social life!) swim at a local pool, play card and board games, make a club, watch movies, play with the neighborhood squirrels,(from FRED!)learn how to be ninja, emo, gangster, and nerd, buy the shamWHOOHOO!, buy ChildrensBop, make a lemonade stand, learn a new language, have campouts, roast....stuff, have sleepovers, KIT with your friends in NJ, and HAVE FUN!

Well Surya, that could sound like a lot of fun, but, unfortunately, there are now NO good shows on TV, NO local pool, NOBODY to play cards and board games with, NOBODY to join a club I start, NO good movies, according to my mom the neighborhood squirrels have rabies, NO youtube to learn how to become a ninja, emo, gangster, or nerd (it's blocked), NOBODY 18 or older to buy me a ShamWow! or ChildrensBop, NO lemons to make lemonade to make a lemonade stand, NOBODY to teach me a new languauge, and NOBODY in my family that even knows what a campout is! With a life like mine, there is nearly no way to have fun in the summer!

Go Alina, Go!

Summer can be fun if you make it fun! Now, I don't want to sound like Confucius here, but the human mind always leans towards the negative things. We must grasp the good forces of nature and bring them closer to us, Alisa-san.

Whoa, I started to go Confucius there...

Alina, you could do what I did when I found out that I couldn't do any of my suggestions- Read. It can cure boring-ness-ness, or it could put you to sleep. ;)

I know this is unlikely, but what if u didn't have any books, no library card, and there was no library nearby, you don't have a car, no friends, and you don't have any neighbors within a 50-mile radius? And you can't do any of the things you mentioned before. Now how?

There should be a topic about who you had for 6th grade...
