I'm starting to think that I am a person who is extremely sensitive to weather.

When it rains I get depressed and sleepy.

When it's sunny out but not humid, I'm a happy child.

When it is humid I'm lazy and completely drained (but I think we all are to some extent on humid days.)

Yesterday the air pressure around me was constantly changing because I was outside a lot. It was windy, but the strength of the wind was constantly changing, so I got a headache.

When there is thunder and lightning I get anxious. But not like, 'OHMIGOD the tree in the backyard is going to collapse' or 'I'm going to get electrocuted.' The thunder makes me jittery. It's odd...

When there is an earthquake, tornado, hurricane, etc. I scream

My conclusion: someday I'm moving to Florida. XD

Sorry guys, I haven't been posting for some time. Just want you to know that nothing of interest has happened. I've had the flu for the past four days, so I feel like crap. Also, I started reading the Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. It's a really good book! If you want a preview (first two chapters) click here. My life has been pretty complicated (certain people would know), so yeah. My Grandpa

*before you start reading this, keep in mind that 'metro' means subway in russian...

So a few days ago I was visiting my grandparents in Brooklyn. And let me tell you right now, this is Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Also known as 'Little Russia by the Sea.' 75% of the population is Russian immigrants above the age of 60 and the other 25% are their grandchildren. On Sunday my grandpa and I planned to go to Subway for a sandwich. My grandpa had no clue where Subway is or what it is, so in the morning he says "Alisa, when do you plan on going to the metro station?" That's translated from Russian. For any Russians who read this is went something like this: "Alisa, kogda ti hochesh poyti na metrostansiyu za butirbrodami?"

This is probably funnier for Russians, but just imagine being in this situation at that very moment and I think you might find it funny. :)

Radio Conversation

Ok guys, this is a good one:
Have you ever noticed how when the radio turns on (with some kind of talk show) it completely drains all conversation in the car. I noticed it yesterday when our friend picked us up and we were talking, my sister was being loud (as usual). Then the car started and a random talk show came on. Everyone instantly stopped talking. I thought it was amazing...
Anyway, what are your opinions on this? Write some advantages and disadvanges of it in the comments. The person with the most advantages and the person with the most disadvantages can get a choice of a prize:

Dont get me wrong. School would be great if there was less of it. It's just too overwhelming with all that homework. I'd rather spend my time swimming in the pool or hanging out with my friends than homeworking (lol, get it? It's pun. Homeworking - doing homework - or home working - working at home! lol I crack myself up! XD It's not that funny is it? Whatever!).

Those of you from Ms. Reynolds class at Grover know that the Philosophers Tea is coming up. For those of you that are in a different team, school or country and are wondering who the heck Ms. Reynolds is, she's our awsome social studies teacher. Every year she has this tea, where we have to pretend to be different philosophers from China, such as Legalist (brutal and violent), Daoist (Hippie-type Treehugger), or Confucionist (fair and respecting); and we get hot chocolate and cookies! We are not allowed to tell anyone what philosopher Ms. Reynolds assigned to us, yet everyone's been asking everyone else! For all those who think this isn't right, have fun ranting. For those of you who are telling people and think keeping secrets is fun, have fun defending your point.
P.S. I won't be commenting in this conversation because as the blog owner I'm not allowed to choose sides.

For all I care you could ask your spanish speaking dog to translate. Someone just translate because if you don't I'll ...uh... Lets rant about animal testing. Look at this mouse. You think he like having a giant ear growing out of his spine? The question I should ask is this, and I'm going to ask it as loud as possible in writing to make my point come across to you people: WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU WERE INJECTED WITH ELEPHANT DNA AND IN A MONTH OR SO, THERE WAS A GIANT EAR GROWING OUT OF YOUR SPINE? Sure you'd have amazing hearing, but come on! An elephant ear? Growing out of a kid's spine?

You: Hey Mrs. Johnson! Heres last night's homework.

Mrs. Johnson (your teacher): What is that growing out of your back?

You: It's an African elephant ear. It's the new fashion. You like?

Animal testing is cruel. This mouse would make a good pet, and instead of selling it at PetSmart, they're growing it a human ear. Picture this in your mind:

Mommy mouse and Baby mouse are at the mouse mall, Christmas shopping.

Baby Mouse: Mommy! Look! it's Mister Santa Mouse! Let's go say hi to him!

Mommy Mouse: Okay.

(Baby Mouse and Mommy Mouse stood in line for twenty minutes until they got to Santa Mouse)

Baby Mouse: (Sitting on Santa Mouse's lap) Mister Santa Mouse, this Christmas, I want a scientist to take me to an animal testing lab. Then I want them to inject me with human DNA so I can grow a human ear on my back!

Enviroment

Hey guys! This "blogging" stuff is harder than it looks. Especially when there's so much to rant about. Let's start with ranting about the wierdos who don't care about the enviroment. Listen up Wierdos! I don't care how much you don't care. If you don't care about the enviroment, you won't be able to have your dream job. I know you want to be the President of the USA. Or maybe a lawyer, I hear they make a lot of money. Maybe an astronaut. Or how about a pirate? ARGH, MATEY! What about a ninja? You want to be a ninja? I know! When you grow you want to work at the zoo......as a MONKEY! Sure be a monkey, but if you don't go to monkey college, you'll never get to be a monkey! And you won't go to monkey college if we all die because of Global Warming! Is that enough logical reasoning for you to care about the enviroment? WELL? IS IT? I think I've made my point. Have fun ranting about the wierdos who will never work in the zoo because they don't care about the enviroment. Can't think of anything? I'll get you started by making a comment.
